Submission Guidelines

SUBMISSIONS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED.

​

All chapbook submissions should be sent to floodlighteditions@gmail.com.  The subject should read "Manuscript - Your Name."  The page count should be between 10 - 30 pages.  A brief cover letter and author bio should be included in the body of the email.  Make sure to provide a brief synopsis of your work.

Covers for chapbooks are up to the founder/editor-in-chief to design.  A quote from the author's chapbook or endorsement for the work will always appear on the back cover.

Authors are expected to agree with the DIY approach we take to design/layout.

​

Authors receive ten copies of their chapbook as payment.  All other chapbooks can be purchased by the author at cost plus shipping.

We are unable to offer payment to writers at this time.

​

Please make sure to be kind when submitting, and have nothing that could be considered offensive in the email or document being sent in.

We cannot guarantee that there will be a book launch to celebrate the release of our chapbooks.
